The Key technology in sustainable manufacturing of Overseas Expertise

 Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation

The "Key technology in sustainable manufacturing" of Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) was approved to establish in 2015, and officially started in 2016. Relying on the provincial and ministerial research such as the high efficiency precision machining and equipment technology engineering research center of the Ministry of education, the Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation aims at the frontier scientific problems and key technologies in the field of sustainable manufacturing, introduces foreign experts' researches and advance academic achievements, promoting the construction of the internationalization level of the college. In addition, the research directions of Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation mainly includes sustainable manufacturing for technology, tools and equipment technology, process quality control technology, basic theory and integrated optimization technology.

The talents in "Key technology in sustainable manufacturing " of Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation include 16 overseas influential experts and 14 domestic experts, forming a high-level research team.The 16 overseas experts are mainly from Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and South Korea, all with titles of a senior professional post. Among them, Professor Hendrik van Brussel of KU Leuven is academician of Royal Academy of Sciences of Belgium, President of International Academy of production engineering (2000-2001); and Professor Eberhard Abele of Darmstadt University of Technology is academician of German Academy of engineering, academician of International Academy of production engineering, winner of Friendship Award of Chinese government. Among the 14 Chinese experts, there is 1 academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and 2 distinguished professors of Changjiang Scholars. The domestic talent team has maintained close cooperation with overseas teams for a long time, and has achieved fruitful results in scientific researches, international conferences and academic exchanges.

Since its operation of the center, domestic and overseas scholars have conducted in-depth and close exchanges and cooperation. More than 10 overseas universities and scientific research institutions have established substantive cooperative relations with Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation, and have made achievements in joint holding of international conferences and joint laboratories. At present, three scientific research projects have been applied for, and one joint laboratory has been constructed. The development will further improve the research capability of NUAA, and promote the development and of sustainable manufacturing technology in China and in the whole world.
